The east side of Kaua'i

These pictures are of sights on the east side of Kaua'i.

Obviously, this was taken from the highway. They had this kind of scenery all over the place.

This was taken from the helicopter. This is the Blue Hole, or more commonly, Wai'ale'ale Crater. Three thousand-foot cliffs, and waterfalls coming down from the wettest spot on earth.

This was a flower I found on my hike to the tunnels. I have no idea what it is.

The rest of the pictures were taken on the Nonou East Trail on Sleeping Giant. The trail leaves from a parking lot in a subdivision in Wailua. It's very steep, as it switchbacks up the face of the hill. From the picnic area at the top, you can see almost 360 around.
